Flights to Sphinx Airport

Most flights landing at Sphinx Airport are domestic connections from other Egyptian cities, plus a growing number of seasonal international and charter arrivals from Europe and the Gulf.

If your journey includes a connection through Cairo International Airport as well as Sphinx Airport, plan extra time for the transfer between the two, since they are separate facilities on opposite sides of the city.

As with most Egyptian airports, it's worth arriving at least 3 hours before an international departure and around 2 hours before a domestic one, since security screening and passport control can take longer at busier times.
